I've decided to issue out a re-release of my very first EP release titled Violet Energy. These are some of the songs that I created when I just started out. And they all mean a lot to me and I hold these songs very close to my heart. So I thought that I would share my story of each song with you and my experience of writing this record. I refer to this record and time in my life as old-school Carmichael. The sound is completely different from what I'm creating now but I like to revist these songs every now and then as it makes me proud of how far I've come in the last few years.

So as my gift to you, you can download the entire release including a remix by Gavin Edom for free. I believe that music is a great way to tell story's and to express yourself. I find it hard to put a price tag on something so personal sometimes. So I would prefer that money didn't get in the way. However if you liked the any of the songs, I encourage you to share them or to share this EP with your friends.
